A fine art photographer, has been documenting humanity for the past 25 years. André’s work has appeared in publications including the Sunday Times Magazine, Royal Geographical Magazine, Wanderlust, Vogue and W Magazine.

I am an Illustrator/Graphic designer based in Ubud, Bali. Mostly I work with a computer in the day time and pen, marker, brush and paper at night, creating characters based on everyday humans that I witness around me.

CuriousWorks is a community arts and media organisation that identifies, nurtures and builds a new generation of storytellers.

Curtis Taylor is a filmmaker, screen artist and a young Martu leader. Growing up in the remote Martu desert communities and in the city, Curtis has gained both traditional Martu knowledge and a Western education and has recently completed film and media studies at Murdoch University in Perth.

We are Brodie and Daniel Jones; we met at the University of Wollongong in a Media Arts class which we shared on our way to acquiring our respective Bachelors of Creative Arts. We both have a Diploma of Education and teach Visual Arts and TAS (Technical and Applied Science) at Nowra Anglican College. We have a history of exhibiting separately and together in a variety of media.

David is a young, emerging photographer living in a small town in Java, called Salatiga. As he develops his skills, he shares his knowledge about photography with his community. He is interested in candid moments and the magic of a kids expression.

I make installations, performances and text-based art. I’m interested in the hidden structures and unwritten rules of our everyday world.

Erlend is a sound artist and sound curator. He likes to work with sound in combination with art and space. He has a fascination with sounds, music, the interpretation of those and the impact on society and culture. Beside collecting and exploring music he hosts a (more or less) regular radio show in Graz, Austria.

A painter and sculptor working out of Langa Township in South Africa. His work represents the impact and results of how people can behave when handed a bad situation in life, and explores how we can perhaps try and change this. It is his hope that when people see his work, it will change how they perceive the people committing such acts and notice things about their life you might not have seen before.

Gigi Is a self taught social photographer based In Cape Town. She is currently a photography and visual artist student specialising in social documentary.

The Holographic Lounge Room Experience is a community arts concept with a focus on social inclusion. Karen Revie and Kitty Taylor developed the Holographic Lounge Room Experience after recognising a need for an artist run initiative which provides low cost digitally projected events enabling artists to celebrate their digital creations together.

John Paine is a Sydney-based artist who has been making cartoons since he could hold a pencil. He is completely self-taught and does it all – from character design to flash animation.

Jonas will be working closely with Australian artist MT Walker to bring a new video projection work to MG Denpasar.

Kat is a curator, urban disruptor and creator of public art interventions that focus on positive change. Kat creatively leads the global arts initiative Micro Galleries, is writer and curator for women-identifying initiative, Urban Nasty, is an Advisor for French-based global arts initiative United Sketch Freedom, and was named as one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence for Culture. She has recently returned from the prestigious The Arctic Circle Residency where she continued her research and activations on climate disruption art and the role of artists in this vital issue.

Artist and activist in exile, he is living and working in Paris since 2009. He gives educational lectures in the colleges and universities since 2010. Kianoush’s editorial cartoons appears regularly in Courrier International French magazine and other national and International media in France and other countries. He chose “Cartooning: The Art of Danger” for his TEDx talk in 2014, months before the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack. He has been curating and directing International cartoon expos since 2011 in Europe [France, Sweden, Germany etc. ], and is the founder President of the United Sketches International Association supporting freedom of expression and Cartoonists in Exile.

People fascinate me. I often keep quiet and observe connections and subcultures with a sense of curiosity of what their story might be: the lives of the underground. I love to catch those moments that tell a story through my camera in a way that avoids the mainstream ‘norm’ of every day life. My work generally has a message about acceptance and raising awareness.

Liam Herne is an artist who predominately works in performance, photography and video. He is based in Brisbane, Australia.

I interested in non-mainstreams way of thinking specially regarding my social and cultural background as a Balinese man, and I explore that idea using paintings, installations, performance art, object art and underground music.

Sarah is an Australian-based urban artist who creates colourful, emotive, layered work. Inspired by the female form, typography and colour. Sarah mixes these elements to create vibrant murals, over-sized canvas artworks and urban paste-ups.

As an artist, I do paintings and murals. Most of my artworks are inspired by my love for Bali dogs and other animals.

I enlarge small creatures so we can  better appreciate their value and modify our behaviour to protect their habitats.

Syafiudin Vifick is a visual storyteller, specialising in social cultural issues, travel and documentary // Saya seorang visual storyteller. Karya-karya saya menggunakan medium fotografi.

A multi-disciplinary designer who likes colours and find beauty in most things.

This dynamic curator, teacher and photographer has a personality and vibrant as his art.

Tim’s work deals with different relationships which exist between people and the places they inhabit. It does so by celebrating and questioning things which are taken for granted or overlooked. Tim works with slab built ceramic sculpture and mixed media drawing in a Pop art inspired style. His art seeks to create fun playful reactions as a way to engage people in often serious topics such as social, political or environmental issues.

I knit, paper-cut, shadow puppet and dance. I believe my work opens me up to new possibilities – if it doesn’t make me insane!

Zena likes to think her art form is in removing the jargon and fluff around marketing, turning it into an easy to understand, practical tool that anyone can use. She has also been to known to throw impromptu performances during business meetings, especially when they are boring. Zena is Micro Galleries Marketing Strategic Lead for the Global Team.
